Organic Locally Grown Seasonal Fruit & Vegetables
We grow an extensive selection of fruit and vegetables grown using traditional methods. Fruit and vegetables are for sale fresh when in season, we don't force grow or use any non organic fertilisers or ground treatments. With the aid of compost produced on the farm, our produce rely on mother nature's timing for availability. We do employ the use of a couple of polytunnels which allow us the luxury of at least some fresh fruit and vegetables even in winter.
Free Range Farm Meats
We have a range of free range meats for sale when available, these are sold at local farmers markets and directly from the farm. All our meat is produced from only the finest breeds reared directly on our small holding using high welfare standards where the animals are allowed to roam freely and enjoy a happy life. Animals are farmed using slow traditional farming methods, therefore meat is not always available to meet demand.

Free Range Beef
Dexter Beef reared on our smallholding on milk suckled naturally and on grass and hay from our meadows
Free Range Pork
Free range pork reared on our small holding using traditional farming methods. We make our own sausages, dry cure our own bacon and cider cure our own ham using our special 'Dragon Willows Farm' recipies.
Free range Poultry
Our geese are specially raised for sale at Christmas. We now have a breeding pair who are very good parents and the goslings they have raised naturally are of far superior quality to those we raised ourselves in our first year on the farm before we were able to get the breeding pair.
Roast goose is the traditional English festive fare and
nothing can compare with the succulent flavour and crispier roasted skin and our home made gooseberry jelly is a perfect partner. An additional bonus is that the best roast potatoes are those made roasted in goose fat.
Fresh Farm eggs
Goose eggs
Geese have a fairly long laying period and produce many more eggs than they would hatch, therefore from approximately mid-February to end March/beginning April we have fresh goose eggs available. Very rich and tasty, one goose egg equates to approximately 3 standard hen eggs. They are very good for cakes, flans, omlettes and pancakes.
Chicken eggs
Our completely free range hens produce delicious eggs with great richly coloured yolks.
Herbs
The herb gardens are eventually intended to be a tribute to the monastic herb gardens of medieval times. We currently grow the popular culinary herbs, such as parsley, thyme, sage, chives etc., but plan to expand and also include a great selection of the 'forgotten' medicinal herbs, and scented herbs like lavender, camomile and musk roses which are a must for pot puree and produce oils for scented candle making and soaps and lotions. Herbs can be bought fresh, dried or where appropriate to the plant, live in pots.
Preserves
Our homemade preserves are made in small batches using traditional methods, and are fantastic for both your own table, or to give as gifts to friends and family. We have traditional fruit jams, specialist marmalades, 'Dragon' chutney, and Seasonal pickles and chutneys that are a must for Christmas. All preserves (with the exception of the marmalades) are made using only fruits and vegetables grown on our holding.
